Use of silicone based liquid lubricants to shine your latex clothes
Some silicone-based liquid lubricants can also be used as shine agents. In addition, you can buy gloss sprays specially designed to give latex an extra shine. (Again, the Pjur Cult brand remains a favorite of the rubber community). As always, avoid anything containing odors, perfumes or other added ingredients, such as baby oil or cornstarch, which can damage latex. As with lubricant, silicone oil is a recommended base material because it doesn’t leave a greasy film on latex when it dries.

Let your polish clothing dry
Carefully coat your latex outfit with a thin layer of polish, taking care not to miss any areas. If you’re wearing a full-body suit, ask a friend or partner to help you polish hard-to-reach areas like the back. Let your polish dry for several minutes before going out in public – badly dried polish can rub off and stain other people’s clothes, hair or skin. If you’re going dancing in a club or playing with your partner in bed, it’s especially important to make sure you’re completely dry before initiating any contact!
Apply glossing agent outdoors or in a well-ventilated area to avoid breathing noxious fumes. If you’re going to be wearing latex for a long time, say a whole day, it’s a good idea to keep a small bottle of shine agent with you in case you need to touch up dull spots during the day.
More tips
You can also add a little extra shine by polishing or buffing your latex outfit with a soft cloth. However, you should avoid cloths that “shed” or retain lint, such as tissues or conventional washcloths. Eyeglass cleaning cloths, which are specially designed not to damage sensitive surfaces, are the recommended option here. Use a simple, dry cloth – DO NOT wet it with water or soap, detergent or oil, as all these products can cause permanent damage.
